36.66.وَلَوْ نَشَاء لَطَمَسْنَا عَلَى أَعْيُنِهِمْ فَاسْتَبَقُوا الصِّرَاطَ فَأَنَّى يُبْصِرُونَ

36.66. Si Nous le voulions, Nous les frapperions de cécité, et ils chercheraient en vain leur voie, sans y parvenir.

36.66 . And had We willed , We verily could have quenched their eyesight so that they should struggle for the way . Then how could they have seen?

36.66. Walaw nashao latamasna AAala aAAyunihim faistabaqoo alssirata faanna yubsiroona

36.67.وَلَوْ نَشَاء لَمَسَخْنَاهُمْ عَلَى مَكَانَتِهِمْ فَمَا اسْتَطَاعُوا مُضِيّاً وَلَا يَرْجِعُونَ

36.67. Et si Nous le voulions, Nous les pétrifierions sur place, si bien qu'ils ne pourraient plus ni avancer ni reculer.

36.67 . And had We willed , We verily could have fixed them in their place , making them powerless to go forward or turn back .

36.67. Walaw nashao lamasakhnahum AAala makanatihim fama istataAAoo mudiyyan wala yarjiAAoona

36.68.وَمَنْ نُعَمِّرْهُ نُنَكِّسْهُ فِي الْخَلْقِ أَفَلَا يَعْقِلُونَ

36.68. Celui à qui Nous accordons une longue vie verra péricliter ses facultés mentales et physiques. Ne le comprennent-ils donc pas?

36.68 . He whom We bring unto old age , We reverse him in creation ( making him go back to weakness after strength ) . Have ye then no sense?

36.68. Waman nuAAammirhu nunakkis-hu fee alkhalqi afala yaAAqiloona

36.69.وَمَا عَلَّمْنَاهُ الشِّعْرَ وَمَا يَنبَغِي لَهُ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ وَقُرْآنٌ مُّبِينٌ

36.69. Nous n'avons pas enseigné la poésie au Prophète , cela ne saurait lui convenir. Le Message qu'il apporte n'est qu'un rappel et une Lecture édifiante,

36.69 . And we have not taught him ( Muhammad ) poetry , nor is it meet for him . This is naught else than a Reminder and a Lecture making plain ,

36.69. Wama AAallamnahu alshshiAAra wama yanbaghee lahu in huwa illa thikrun waqur-anun mubeenun

36.70.لِيُنذِرَ مَن كَانَ حَيّاً وَيَحِقَّ الْقَوْلُ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ

36.70. visant à avertir les âmes sensibles au bien et à montrer le bien-fondé des peines annoncées aux infidèles.

36.70 . To warn whosoever liveth , and that the word may be fulfilled against the disbelievers .

36.70. Liyunthira man kana hayyan wayahiqqa alqawlu AAala alkafireena
