38.26.يَا دَاوُودُ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَاكَ خَلِيفَةً فِي الْأَرْضِ فَاحْكُم بَيْنَ النَّاسِ بِالْحَقِّ وَلَا تَتَّبِعِ الْهَوَى فَيُضِلَّكَ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَضِلُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ بِمَا نَسُوا يَوْمَ الْحِسَابِ

38.26. «Ô David ! Nous faisons de toi un vicaire sur Terre. Juge entre les hommes en toute équité et garde-toi de suivre tes penchants, si tu veux rester dans la Voie du Seigneur, car ceux qui dévient de la Voie du Seigneur subiront de terribles châtiments pour avoir oublié le Jour du Jugement.»

38.26 . ( And it was said unto him ) : O David! Lo! We have set thee as a viceroy in the earth ; therefor judge aright between mankind , and follow not desire that it beguile thee from the way of Allah . Lo! those who wander from the way of Allah have an awful doom , forasmuch as they forgot the Day of Reckoning .

38.26. Ya dawoodu inna jaAAalnaka khaleefatan fee al-ardi faohkum bayna alnnasi bialhaqqi wala tattabiAAi alhawa fayudillaka AAan sabeeli Allahi inna allatheena yadilloona AAan sabeeli Allahi lahum AAathabun shadeedun bima nasoo yawma alhisabi

38.27.وَمَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاء وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا بَاطِلاً ذَلِكَ ظَنُّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنَ النَّارِ

38.27. Nous n'avons pas créé en vain les Cieux, la Terre et les espaces interstellaires, comme le pensent les infidèles. Malheur donc aux infidèles, car ils sont voués à l'Enfer !

38.27 . And We created not the heaven and the earth and all that is between them in vain . That is the opinion of those who disbelieve . And woe unto those who disbelieve , from the Fire!

38.27. Wama khalaqna alssamaa waal-arda wama baynahuma batilan thalika thannu allatheena kafaroo fawaylun lillatheena kafaroo mina alnnari

38.28.أَمْ نَجْعَلُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ كَالْمُفْسِدِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَمْ نَجْعَلُ الْمُتَّقِينَ كَالْفُجَّارِ

38.28. Traiterons-Nous ceux qui croient et font le bien de la même façon que ceux qui sèment le mal sur la Terre? Réserverons-Nous le même sort aux hommes vertueux et à ceux qui sont pervers?

38.28 . Shall We treat those who believe and do good works as those who spread corruption in the earth ; or shall We treat the Pious as the wicked?

38.28. Am najAAalu allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati kaalmufsideena fee al-ardi am najAAalu almuttaqeena kaalfujjari

38.29.كِتَابٌ أَنزَلْنَاهُ إِلَيْكَ مُبَارَكٌ لِّيَدَّبَّرُوا آيَاتِهِ وَلِيَتَذَكَّرَ أُوْلُوا الْأَلْبَابِ

38.29. C'est un Livre béni que Nous t'avons révélé afin que les hommes de bon sens en méditent les versets et s'y arrêtent pour réfléchir.

38.29 . ( This is ) a Scripture that We have revealed unto thee , full of blessing , that they may ponder its revelations , and that men of understanding may reflect .

38.29. Kitabun anzalnahu ilayka mubarakun liyaddabbaroo ayatihi waliyatathakkara oloo al-albabi

38.30.وَوَهَبْنَا لِدَاوُودَ سُلَيْمَانَ نِعْمَ الْعَبْدُ إِنَّهُ أَوَّابٌ

38.30. Nous fîmes de Salomon un don à David. Et ce fils fut un excellent serviteur de Dieu, toujours enclin au repentir.

38.30 . And We bestowed on David , Solomon . How excellent a slave! Lo! he was ever turning in repentance ( toward Allah ) .

38.30. Wawahabna lidawooda sulaymana niAAma alAAabdu innahu awwabun
