Morocco # English board

One can only be Moroccan first than other acquired citizenship Moroccan/ Dutch but not the other way it’s out of respect to our origin. I have stopped in Breda in 1983 while going to Harlem it was clean but had nothing to offer.

Believe me friends, there’s no better place in the whole world to live in than Morocco. Being among the family sipping each time a nice minth tea made by Hajja. Listening to ADANE from home, work place or wherever you are. Celebrating Religious feasts, giving your salam and saying your best wishes to everyone you meet in the street you know or you don’t know. Relaxing and taking a healthy bath at least once a week in the HAMMAM BALDI. Taking holidays and visiting amazing places in our beloved country like Ourzazate, Asilah, Tangier etc…and lots more.
Yes we do have social problems in Morocco like jobless but nowadays the globalization made it difficult for many everywhere in the world.
I’m not against people who chose to immigrate as everyone has his own reasons. For me I prefer to stay at home and enjoy myself even with little means if I can’t afford luxury. Breathing the air of LABLED and sleeping like a baby once I’m on my bed is much better than living overseas most of the time stressed thinking about islamophobia and racism.

Home sweet home

Not all of us had a choice to stay or leave; if you were given the choice to live or die what will you chose?
Morocco is lovely, when I visit and spend two or three weeks among family. I have the feeling that they think I have a well of gold or Mary Poppin magic bag; all it takes is put in your hand and take out Dirham.
Friends, most of them are dead, immigrated or still in prison due to their big mouth.
I feel very sorry to see youngsters studying hard, alienated by the French system their yesterday is identical to tomorrow that still seems a dream mystery to them. Would I ever go back to live their permanently? The answer is yes but under my conditions…

Yes it’s hard to live in our country but I prefer to die here in my sweet home surrounded by family rather than to live overseas where the host always makes you feel you are a persona non grata. At times they are not embarrassed telling you they wished you never put your feet in their country.
Friends here and there are dead but the thing that makes the difference is dying in your sweet home is less bitter than dying elsewhere.
They can only discuss your return conditions if you have what it takes otherwise they‘ll ask you to stay where you are. They have enough brain-teaser here and no need for more. For your information there were 30 injured youngsters yesterday during a riot.

Those are the leading nations of the world buddy. France is nice for sure but only to vist once in the blue moon.

I think the English are good at speaking their. We remain foregners with our camembert English accent in the UK.

lol yes they chew words and yes, it's American accent, you never can have it until you should be born in US, learning Frensh or any foreign language is easy but to have the American accent well, it stays the hardest one

Indeed... I can fake any accent... but to actually speak like them, it's way too hard. and not worth the effort.

It's like the scottish accent... sometimes just to have fun (in English class) I mock the scots a little... it's easy to copy them, but you have to know their vocabulary... for the scottish accent, you have to use and abuse of the word "lads". use it as much as possible... and call people "fu**er"... and say "bloody" and be always pissed like If you were a guy forced to wear a lady's dress...

the result is pretty funny: "of course, it's bloody raining you fu**er!! you are in scotland. come on lads, let's go home."

and there you have it, bullseye... even if you dont control the accent...

I think the American accent is little bit hard to imitate it it will take a hard time to learn it, anyway! the New Yorkers are the people who swallow most words and they say when you can understand the NYorkers accent you can understand all American accent
