Moroccan international player Hakim Ziyech, who plays as an attacking midfielder or winger for Premier League club Chelsea, left the Morocco national football team’s training camp on Friday to recover from his injury.
«He left the training camp to pursue his medical program as previously agreed between the medical staff of the national team and the English club», the Royal Moroccan Football Federation said in statement on Saturday.
The Royal Moroccan Federation, at the same time, announced that «Ajax Amsterdam player Noussair Mazraoui joined the Atlas Lions training camp on Friday 09 October 2020 organized at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Maâmoura», near Rabat.
Ziyech was summoned by the Atlas Lions’ manager to join the national football team to play two friendlies.
