Raja Casablanca forward Soufiane Rahimi underwent a surgery on Sunday in a clinic in Casablanca, following the game against Egyptian club Zamalek.
During the game, the player was injured in the nose. In a statement, the Casablanca club recalled that the player had his nose broken.
«The operation was successful and Soufiane Rahimi is expected to resume group training on Wednesday and accompany the team to Egypt to face Egyptian club Zamalek for the return leg», the statement read.
Yesterday, Raja Casablanca lost to Egypt’s Zamalek, which managed to score a goal. The only goal was scored by Moroccan Achraf Bencharki, former player of Wydad of Casablanca who has been playing for Zamalek since 2019.
