3,020 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 197,481.
2,823 new recoveries were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries in the Kingdom to 163,195.
46 deaths were recorded between yesterday and today, bringing the total number of deaths to 3,301. 10 of these deaths were recorded in the region of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, 7 in Casablanca-Settat, 7 in the Oriental, 5 in Béni Mellal-Khénifra, 4 in Marrakech-Safi, 4 to 6 in Fès-Meknès, 3 in Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma, 3 in Drâa-Tafilalet, 2 in Souss-Massa, and 1 in Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra.
The country has 30,985 active cases, including 743 in critical conditions. 41 of them are on ventilators.
Casablanca-Settat recorded 1,090 cases: 690 in Casablanca, 103 in Mohammedia, 82 in Settat, 65 in Nouceur, 53 in El Jadida, 37 in Berrechid, 33 in Benslimane, 20 in Médiouna and 7 in Sidi Bennour. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, with 726 cases: 170 in Skhirat-Témara, 163 in Salé, 151 in Kénitra, 80 in Rabat, 73 in Sidi Slimane, 45 in Khemisset and 44 in Sidi Kacem.
The Oriental region follows with 270 cases: 125 in Oujda-Angad, 44 in Jerada, 35 in Nador, 30 in Taourirt, 18 in Guersif, 17 in Berkane and 1 in Figuig. Souss-Massa has 227 cases: 108 in Agadir Ida Ou Tanane, 61 in Inezgane Aït Melloul, 38 in Taroudant, 15 in Tiznit and 5 in Chtouka Aït Baha. Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceïma follows with 216 infections in 24 hours: 80 in Tetouan, 46 in Tanger-Assilah, 33 in M'diq-Fnideq, 20 in Ouezzane, 18 in Al Hoceïma, 18 in Larache and 1 in Chefchaouen.
Marrakech-Safi recorded 148 new cases: 112 in Marrakech, 17 in Youssoufia, 12 in Chichaoua, 5 in Essaouira and 2 in Rehamna. Beni Mellal-Khénifra recorded 106 cases: 34 in Fqih Bensalah, 30 in Azilal, 21 in Béni Mellal, 18 in Khouribga and 3 in Khénifra.
The Drâa-Tafilalet region confirmed 105 new infections: 37 in Errachidia, 33 in Tinghir, 19 in Ouarzazate, 14 in Midelt and 2 in Zagora. Laâyoune-Es Sakia El Hamra recorded 54 new cases: 45 in Laâyoune and 9 in Es-Semara. Guelmim-Oued Noun confirmed 35 infections: 14 in Tan Tan, 10 in Sidi Ifni, 7 in Guelmim and 4 in Assa-Zag.
Fès-Meknes discovered 33 cases: 13 in Fez, 12 in Meknes, 6 in Sefrou and 2 in Taza. Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab confirmed 10, all in Oued Ed Dahab.
