Moroccan authorities decided on Wednesday to suspend flights to and from Mali, Ghana, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Guinea-Conakry and Libya.
The decision was announced on the Facebook page of the National Airports Office (ONDA), which indicates that this suspension has been in effect since Tuesday March 23 at midnight and will continue until April 10. The same source reports that «passengers from these countries who are trying to access Moroccan territory through another country» are also concerned.
On March 16, Morocco suspended flights with six new countries, including Argentina, Cameroon and Croatia. Two days earlier, the Moroccan authorities extended the suspension of international flights to and from several countries until April 10.
Scheduled for March 21, the lifting of this measure has been postponed for Belgium, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Switzerland and Turkey, but also Poland, Norway, Finland, Greece, Lebanon and Kuwait.
