The President of Gabon's Transitional National Assembly, Jean-François Ndongou, reaffirmed, on Monday, his country's unwavering support for Morocco's territorial integrity and sovereignty over the Sahara during his visit to the Kingdom.
Ndongou conveyed this message during a meeting with the Speaker of Morocco's House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi Alami. He also highlighted Gabon's participation in the Green March of 1975, demonstrating its long-standing commitment to Morocco's position.
During the meeting, Ndongou discussed the ongoing transition in Gabon and its roadmap towards establishing strong institutions and transparent elections. Talbi Alami, in turn, praised the strong bilateral relations between the two countries and offered to share Morocco's experience in parliamentary practices and digitalization. He also emphasized the significant reforms and projects underway in Morocco under King Mohammed VI's leadership.
