Palestinian Authority welcomes Morocco’s continued support

The Palestinian Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammad Mustafa, received a phone call from the Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Bourita, on Sunday March 31, reports the Palestinian news agency WAFA.

The head of Moroccan diplomacy congratulated Mr. Mustafa on his appointment by the Palestinian President to form the new government, while also «wishing him success in his new role as Foreign Minister. He also wished the new government success in its mission to serve the Palestinian people and defend their legitimate rights», reports MAP.

For his part, the newly appointed Prime Minister hailed Morocco's constant positions of solidarity with the Palestinian cause. «The two parties agreed to pursue cooperation and joint coordination in order to develop the means of cooperation between the two countries on different levels», WAFA agency stressed.

On March 15, the President of the Palestinian Authority appointed Mohammad Mustafa, 69, to form a new government.
