Italian singer Zucchero will make his Moroccan debut, closing the 17th edition of the Jazzablanca festival (June 6-8, 2024) on the Casa Anfa stage. The performance is part of his worldwide «Overdose d'Amore» tour.
A rock-blues icon with over 40 years of experience and 60 million albums sold, Zucchero is known for his powerful vocals and genre-bending style. Hits like «Senza Una Donna», «Il Volo», and «Così Celeste» have secured his place as a global and intergenerational music legend.
Zucchero's musical journey began in 1970s Tuscany, where he played with rhythm and blues bands. He launched his solo career in 1976, but his breakthrough came in 1983 with the album «Un po' di Zucchero» and the formation of Zucchero & the Randy Jackson Band.
«Senza Una Donna», released in 1987, became a mega-hit, further solidified by a later English-Italian duet with Paul Young.
