For the second time, Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez has commissioned renowned Moroccan songwriter RedOne to produce the Merengue's new anthem.

The artist officially announced the news on Tuesday, June 4, on his Instagram account, expressing his gratitude: «Thank you Dear President Don Florentino Perez (the BEST president ever) for believing and giving me the chance to be part of Real Madrid’s history!!! By creating the theme of ‘El Madridismo’ for The Club of my life».

In 2017, following Real Madrid's victory in their tenth Champions League, he had already produced «Canción de la Décima», which subsequently became the club's modern anthem.

The producer is also no stranger to the world of football. In 2006, he made his debut in football music with «Bamboo», designated the official song of the FIFA World Cup. More recently, he was appointed FIFA's Executive Director of Entertainment and produced two official songs for the 2022 World Cup, «Haya Haya» and «Arhbo». Finally, he composed «Dirou Niya», a song specially dedicated to Moroccan fans.
