The Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME) has welcomed King Mohammed VI's speech marking the 49th anniversary of the Green March. The CCME expressed its full commitment to implementing the royal guidelines outlined in the speech.
In a press release, the CCME praised the King's recognition of the patriotism and contributions of Moroccans living abroad. The Council also welcomed the King's decision to restructure institutions governing Moroccan expatriate affairs to better serve their needs.
The CCME expressed support for the King's proposal to establish a new institutional framework centered around two key entities: the CCME and the Fondation Mohammedia des Marocains résidant à l'étranger. The CCME emphasized its role as a platform for reflection and a force for proposals, representing the diverse interests of the Moroccan diaspora.
The Council also welcomed the creation of the Fondation Mohammedia, which will consolidate efforts to support Moroccan expatriates and facilitate their involvement in Morocco's development. The Foundation will play a crucial role in mobilizing the skills of Moroccan expatriates and supporting their initiatives and projects.
The CCME highlighted the importance of simplifying and digitizing administrative and legal procedures for Moroccan expatriates. The Council expressed its readiness to contribute to the implementation of the King's vision and to work towards a brighter future for the Moroccan diaspora.
