Ryanair is set to expand its operations from Paris-Beauvais with the introduction of a new route to Essaouira, located on Morocco's Atlantic coast. Starting March 31, 2025, the airline will offer two weekly flights on Mondays and Fridays, providing options for both short and extended stays.

This addition is part of Ryanair's broader strategy to enhance connectivity between France and Morocco. For the summer of 2025, Ryanair will already be operating flights from Paris-Beauvais to Marrakech, Fès, and Agadir. The inclusion of Essaouira offers travelers a chance to explore a city that, while less frequented by mass tourism, is rich in cultural and natural attractions.

Passengers flying with Ryanair will use either terminal 1 or 2 at the airport, depending on their destination. To reach Paris-Beauvais, a shuttle service provides a direct connection from Porte Maillot in Paris, taking approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Those traveling by car can utilize the airport's parking facilities, with discounted rates available for online bookings.

Essaouira is situated 17 kilometers from its airport and is accessible via collective or individual taxis, with a travel time of about 20 minutes.

The city's medina, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site, enchants visitors with its charming streets leading to the port, where blue boats are docked. The 18th-century ramparts offer stunning ocean views, while local artisan workshops showcase the expertise in crafting with thuya wood.

To the north and south of Essaouira, expansive beaches draw water sports enthusiasts, thanks to consistent winds ideal for surfing, windsurfing, and kitesurfing. The main beach, sheltered by the island of Mogador, is perfect for swimming and relaxation.
