The President of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi Alami, represented King Mohammed VI at the inauguration ceremony of the new President of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, held in Accra on Tuesday.
The Moroccan delegation present at the event included the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Resident Abroad, Nasser Bourita, and the Kingdom's Ambassador to Ghana, Imane Ouadil.
The ceremony was attended by numerous heads of state and government, as well as presidents of parliaments, ministers, and various political, civil, and military figures.
For the record, the Republic of Ghana has announced its decision to suspend diplomatic relations with «SADR» on Tuesday. This move was officially communicated in a document from Ghana's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, addressed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates of the Kingdom of Morocco.
