King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain paid a visit on Wednesday to the Moroccan pavilion at the International Tourism Fair (FITUR-2025).

The royal couple was greeted by Karima Benyaich, Morocco's Ambassador to Spain, along with Achraf Fayda, the Director General of the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT), and Hamid Bentaher, President of the National Tourism Confederation.

This year’s 45th edition of FITUR, running until January 26 at Madrid's IFEMA, prominently features Morocco's tourism offerings. The ONMT has set up a 700 m² stand, staffed by its team, Regional Tourism Centers, regional representatives, and industry professionals, all dedicated to promoting Morocco as a prime travel destination.

With approximately 3.5 million visitors, the Spanish market is a key strategic focus for Morocco, presenting opportunities for growth in various tourism sectors. As a major global tourism event, FITUR-2025 showcases the impressive achievements of 2024 and the promising outlook for the current year.
