To mark his inclusion in Spotify's «Radar» program, Moroccan rap sensation Najm was honored with a giant portrait displayed in the heart of New York City.

As the first Moroccan artist to join the prestigious «Radar» program, the 19-year-old rapper’s image graced the iconic Times Square billboards from March 25 to 26, 2025, following in the footsteps of rap legends such as Eminem, Snoop Dogg, and Lil Wayne.

This recognition from Spotify offers Najm enhanced visibility on the streaming platform, promoting his music to international audiences, reads a press release. His inclusion in the program places him alongside world-class talents like Grammy-winning South African artist Tyla and Australian rapper The Kid Laroi, who have also benefited from the program’s promotional support.

Najm is set to perform his hit EP SAV!OR at a concert in Rabat on April 12, 2025, at Cinéma la Renaissance, where he will reconnect with his local audience.

Hailing from Salé, Najm is known for his distinctive blend of trap, chaâbi, and electronic influences, paired with meaningful lyrics and a creative visual identity. In February 2025, he made history as the first Moroccan artist to join Spotify’s «Radar» program.

Launched in 2020, Spotify's «Radar» is an annual initiative that highlights emerging talent, selected based on streaming data and expert opinions. The program provides promising artists with increased visibility, promotional content, and exclusive opportunities.
