For this special edition of Jazzablanca, which marks the event's extension to a ten-day duration (from July 3 to July 12, 2025), the Australian groove will take the stage with Parcels. Formed in 2014, this indie pop band will bring its infectious energy to Casablanca on Thursday, July 10, at the festival's Village in Anfa Park. «At the crossroads of Daft Punk and the Beach Boys, Parcels blend pop melodies, sophisticated harmonies, and danceable rhythms in a retro-modern universe», the organizers highlight in a statement.
The band caught the attention of Daft Punk early on. Co-written and produced by the duo, «Overnight» became the hit single that propelled Parcels onto the international scene. In 2021, the group released their album Day/Night, which featured 19 tracks that achieved resounding success, pushing the boundaries of talent in the genre.
«Since their first album Parcels in 2018, the band has been exporting its irresistible groove, blending funk, rock, and disco influences on the world's biggest stages», the organizers emphasize once again. They boast one billion streams and a sold-out concert at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in 2024.
Continuing their meteoric rise, the band will share the stage at this 18th edition of Jazzablanca with Ibrahim Maalouf, Hindi Zahra, Kool & The Gang, Seal, Waaju, and maâlem Majid Bekkas, among other big names in local and international music.
