Morocco heatwave alert : Temperatures to soar to 42°C from Tuesday to Friday

A heatwave is expected from Tuesday to Friday across several provinces in Morocco, with temperatures ranging between 38 and 42°C, announced the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) in an orange alert bulletin.

These temperatures will be recorded in the provinces of Chichaoua, Marrakech, Rehamna, Khémisset, Youssoufia, Béni Mellal, Fquih Ben Saleh, Aousserd, Oued Ed-Dahab, Assa-Zag, Es-Semara, Tata, Taroudant, Sidi Kacem, Sidi Slimane, Settat, and El Kelaâ des Sraghna, according to the DGM.
