The China-Africa forum has once again excluded the «SADR»
DR

The Forum on China–Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), held on June 11 in Changsha, the capital of China's Hunan province, followed by the official opening of the fourth China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo on June 12, once again clearly demonstrated that the so-called «SADR» has neither legitimacy nor a place within Sino-African cooperation mechanisms.

As with previous editions of the Forum, most notably the Beijing Summit in September 2024, this event was attended exclusively by sovereign African states recognized by the United Nations and the international community, alongside the People's Republic of China and the African Union Commission (AUC).

In full alignment with principles of sovereignty and international legality, the presence of the fictitious separatist entity was, once again, neither invited nor considered. This reinforces the consistent position of China, which recognizes only fully sovereign states as legitimate participants in continental and international cooperation frameworks.

The repeated absence of the so-called «SADR» from serious international forums debunks any unfounded claims about its participation in Africa’s strategic partnerships.

It further confirms that this entity has never had—and will never have—a place in a united Africa or in its international relations, which are rooted in legitimacy, cooperation, and respect for state sovereignty.
