King Mohammed VI, President of the Supreme Council of Judicial Power (CSPJ), received on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at the Royal Palace in Rabat, the members he has appointed to the Council, in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution and the organic law governing the institution.
According to a statement from the Royal Cabinet, the appointments include Mohamed Abdennabaoui, who has been reappointed for a second term as First President of the Court of Cassation and, in that capacity, Vice President of the CSPJ. The king also appointed Latifa El Harradji and Nadir El Moumni as new members of the Council.
King Mohammed VI further appointed Farid El Bacha and renewed the mandates of Mohamed Zouak and Mohamed Ennasser for a second term, among the members whose appointment to the CSPJ falls under the sovereign’s constitutional prerogatives.
During the audience, the Council’s two newly appointed members took the oath before the king.
