Morocco’s national football team held its first training session on Thursday at Pingry School, which serves as the Atlas Lions’ base camp in New Jersey for the 2026 World Cup. The session took place in a focused yet upbeat atmosphere, reflecting the squad’s positive mood ahead of the tournament.

The players trained under excellent conditions and showed strong determination as they continued their preparations for their opening match. Their first workout at the Pingry School facilities drew a large crowd of Moroccan supporters from across the United States, who turned out to cheer on the national team.

Football fans of various nationalities also attended the session, eager to catch a glimpse of Morocco’s star players and soak up the excitement just days before the World Cup gets underway.

Before launching their group-stage campaign, Morocco will play one final warm-up match against Norway on Sunday. The friendly will serve as the last full dress rehearsal for Achraf Hakimi and his teammates before the competition begins.

At the 2026 World Cup, Morocco have been drawn in Group C alongside Brazil, Scotland and Haiti.
