Moroccan man found dead inside car in Florence

A 39-year-old Moroccan man was found dead inside his car in Florence on Tuesday afternoon, with Italian authorities believing he had died around three days earlier.

According to La Nazione, the victim, who was legally residing in Italy and staying at an accommodation facility in Viareggio, had traveled to Florence three days before his body was discovered in a parked vehicle on Via delle Campora.

Police and emergency services responded after a report to the emergency number 112. While initial findings suggest the death was due to natural causes, as no signs of violence were found, the Florence prosecutor's office has ordered further examinations because the body was in an advanced state of decomposition due to the heat.
