Hateful and sexual mass emails targeting Canadian University students are sent by a Moroccan

For more than three months, students and staff of Montcon University, a French-language university located in New Brunswick, Canada were receiving hateful and offensive emails from an individual who lives in Morocco. In an article published today by CBCNews, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) confirmed that since February, a female student studying at Montcon University has been the subject of «cyber terrorism».

The same source indicates that : «a series of ten emails were sent to students and staff, many containing a video or photo of the student that were sexually graphic in nature», adding that the emails «included offensive messages, and links to the student’s Facebook page, in an apparent attempt by the sender to shame her».

Speaking to CBC, Sergeant Mario Fortin declared that «the man behind the attack lives in Morocco».  The RCMP managed to team up with the Moroccan police to issue an arrest warrant against the individual. Mounties stated that the attacker contacted them in one of his emails saying : «I’m living in Morocco. So just catch me if you can», reports CBC.

Fortin added to the same source, that the victim and the attacker knew each other and that the student refused to reveal the nature of neither their relationship nor his name.
