A 22-year-old Moroccan national suspected of being a foreign fighter for the terrorist organization «Islamic State» was deported from Italy because he represented a potential threat to society. The young man had used many nick names in the few recent years, indicates the Italian newspaper Il Sole 24 ore.

On the 9th of January 2017, he was identified at the Milan Malpensa Airport amid giving misleading information about him. The procedure for identifying the nationality of the young Moroccan was long because the authorities failed to follow his footsteps.

On July the 7th, the young man was found in the Italian town of Tarvisio then transferred to the repatriation center in Turin. He will be repatriated to Morocco via the Milan Malpensa airport.

Since 2015, 197 people allegedly linked to terrorism were deported back to their country of origin.
