A Moroccan Youtuber makes Donald Trump sing «Despacito»

A Puerto Rican song, a Moroccan Youtuber and an American president, the three of these made it to the Internet thanks to Maestro Ziikos. After the success he achieved by making Barack Obama, USA's former president sing «I am in love with the shape of you» by Edd Sheeran, Zakaria Chaoui is back with another auto-tune hit.

This time it is «Despacito», the streamed song with the highest audience at currently 4,6 billion views, Zakaria's version has been watched more than 412,000 times. According to Univision, an American Spanish-language broadcast television network, the Moroccan Youtuber was able to collect footage of Donald Trump in several conferences and events and used his mixing skills to make him «sing» the Spanish-language song.

In a previous interview with Yabiladi, Maestro Ziikos a Salé-native explained how he got into making music using auto-tune. «I used to watch videos on Youtube of auto-tune musicians and DJs, I liked what they were doing, but I didn't know how to do it» , stated Zakaria Chaoui adding «I published my first video and people suprinsingly liked it, so I decided to create my YouTube Channel that I named Remix 36», he concluded.

After gaining success with other remixes like the one with Barack Obama and Bernie Sanders, Maestor Ziikos decided to unleash his talents and make a Donald Trump's version of «Despacito».

For the record, Despacito translated as slowly was released on January the 12th 2017. It went viral on the Internet and social media and was sung by several Youtubers and singers.
