The UK Space Agency, an executive agency of the Government of the United Kingdom, responsible for the United Kingdom's civil space programme, announced on Wednesday that it is postponing the launch of a space capsule that contains scientific experiments from Morocco, India and Mexico. The agency explained that rescheduling of this launch is due to logistical conditions invoked by the Mexican air force, reported Anadolu.
Mohamed Kayyali, director of the British Space Agency, told the same source that the postponement is not only in favor of the safety of the launch, but also to guarantee the equipments needed for the experiment, and secure the landing.
The director of the British Space Agency said that he is positive about the launch. He also added that it would take place next week.
The official said that the Moroccan, Indian and Mexican experiments are within the space capsule and have not related to the delay, says the same source. This UK Agency’s operation is carried out in collaboration with Mohammed V University of Rabat.
