Twenty-three Moroccan nationals have been arrested for sexually extorting several Italian citizens, reports Corriere della Sera.
An investigation has enabled the authorities to identify the data used by these individuals, including names and nicknames, payment addresses, e-mail addresses, the number of transactions made and the identities of the accused in different countries. Some of the ones who demanded money were in Morocco.
Asking for money, young girls from what appears to be a criminal network blackmailed the victims after having erotic conversations with them.
The operation was carried out by the Royal Gendarmerie in collaboration with the Italian police.
