The show «Maintenant ou Jamel» (Now or Jamel), which was expected to take place in Casablanca on October the 19th and 20th was canceled by Kissman Maroc Production, the copyright owner of Jamel Debbouze’s shows in Morocco.
In a press release, the company revealed that the decision was made after Moroccan broadcaster Radio Planet violated «essential clauses in the contract».
For its part, Radio Planet rejected «these serious accusations that undermine its image and which are groundless» and stated that it is «studying ways to restore its rights».
The Moroccan company says that it «tried in vain to convince the artist and his entourage of not canceling the show in Casablanca».
Kissman Morocco Production and Jamel Debbouze are currently working on rescheduling the show. In addition, Radio Planet has announced that the process of reimbursement of spectators is already underway and will be completed as soon as possible.
