After the Moroccan Royal Football Federation announced that Morocco’s national team will play a friendly against Argentina in March, the president of the Argentine Football Association (AFA) Claudio Fabián Tapia said that Lionel Messi «would love to play against» the Atlas Lions.

Quoted by EFE, Tapia said that the Argentinian player who captains the Spanish club Barcelona and Argentina's national team, «would definitely come to Morocco if summoned by Argentina’s coach».

For the record, the Argentinian football team is expected to play two friendlies in the upcoming months, against both Morocco and Venezuela.

The Morocco friendly will be hosted by Tangier on March the 26th, the Moroccan Royal Football Federation announced last week. The match is part of Morocco's preparation for the upcoming African Cup of Nations (CAN-2019), scheduled in Egypt.
