After breaking up with Pamela Anderson, Adil Rami might leave his club

After breaking up with his two-year girlfriend Pamela Anderson, French-Moroccan footballer Adil Rami is to soon announce his breakup with Olympique de Marseille (OM). The player and his club officials met, Tuesday, at the Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP), the governing body of football leagues in France, during a hearing, sports newspaper Onze Mondial reports.

OM blames Rami for having missed his team’s first training session after the summer break to participate to a French game show called Fort Boyard. The player, however, says he was injured and that he couldn’t make it to the training session. Olympique de Marseille is expected to decide on how to end its contract with Adil Rami

Earlier in July, OM announced that it had opened disciplinary proceedings against French-Moroccan player Adil Rami. Following this step, the club insisted that its decision has nothing to do with Rami’s «private problems».

For the record, Rami has been going through a tough breakup with ex-girlfriend Pamela Anderson. The American-Canadian actress announced later in June that she left Rami, calling him a «monster» who leads a «double life».

Rami replied to Anderson’s claims, defending his reputation. She later answered, publishing messages sent to her by the mother of his two children, claiming that he was allegedly cheating on her. Rami and Anderson started dating two years ago.
