Athletics : Victory of Soufiane El Bakkali with a bleeding foot

El Bakkali had to fight with three rivals when he took the lead. Ethiopian Lamecha Girma and Kenyan Benjamin Kigen have made a good attempt to overtake him, but the Moroccan sportsman has managed to maintain his position by accelerating near the finish line. The champion managed to cross the finish line within 8 minutes and 06.54 seconds despite his injury.
