Rescue teams have recovered the bodies of two other victims after announcing earlier, on Sunday, that six people were killed and 27 others were rescued from a coach, linking Casablanca to Rissani, which tipped over on Sunday at the bridge of Oued Damchan (El Khank commune) in the province of Errachidia, following the floods caused by heavy rain.
Hence, the death toll rises to eight people, the local authorities announced later on Sunday.
Following this accident, all the concerned and competent services headed to the site and the survivors, including those suffering from injuries of different degrees, were rushed to the Moulay Ali Charif regional hospital to receive the necessary medical care, local authorities said.
All human and logistical resources were mobilized to find the rest of the passengers, currently considered as missing, the same source said.
