On Monday, Civil Guard agents intercepted at sea six Moroccan migrants carried in a boat that was heading to Cadiz, Spain.
According to local online newspaper El Faro de Ceuta, the migrants were sailing off Ceuta when they were intercepted. After they were arrested, the migrants and boat driver were taken to a naval base. Once there, the Red Cross assisted them before receiving dry clothes.
Taken to a police station, the migrants will be repatriated to Morocco in accordance with agreements signed by the Kingdom and Spain, the same source reports. The boat driver, on the other hand, will be brought to court.
