Policemen and customs services seized on Monday evening at the port of Tangier-Med 2.2 tons of cannabis resin that was concealed in an international transport truck.
The driver of the vehicle which was heading for Spain was arrested, National Police said in a statement.
The suspect, aged 34, was placed on custody, while investigations are underway under the supervision of the competent prosecutor's office to determine all the ramifications of this criminal act.
