Moroccan footballer Abderrazak Hamdallah, who currently plays as a striker for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Professional League, has announced his retirement from international football.
Hamdallah took to Instagram to announce his decision, while in New York on vacation. His decision puts an end to a controversial episode, which had started, ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations after a fight with international footballer Fayçal Fajr.
Following this fight, Hamdallah left the Atlas Lions squad, which was preparing for the continental competition in summer 2019.
The Moroccan striker did not give reasons for his international retirement.
