Morocco’s ambassador to South Africa, Botswana, Malawi and Eswatini Youssef Amrani handed, Thursday in Gaborone, credentials to Botswana’s president Mokgweetsi Masisi as the Kingdom’s extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador to the this country.

During a ceremony presided by the President of Botswana, Youssef Amrani conveyed the warmest greetings of King Mohammed VI to the people of Botswana, wrote MAP news agency.

Expressing his willingness to contribute actively, through a strengthened political dialogue, to the promotion of ties and economic cooperation between Morocco and Botswana, the ambassador stressed that the two countries have great potential for cooperation in various fields.

Welcoming the excellent relations between the two countries, the Head of State of Botswana has expressed his commitment to continue and support the virtuous dynamics between the two countries.
