Morocco landed in Group I after drawing lots for the African qualifiers for the Qatar World Cup 2022, held Tuesday in Cairo, along with the Guinea, Guinea-Bissau and Sudan.
The event took place during a ceremony held notably in the presence of president of the African Football Confederation (CAF) Ahmad Ahmad and secretary general of the Moroccan Royal Football Federation Tarek Najem and a number of coaches from the 40 African selections qualified for the next stage, as well as several African football stars.
