Thirty-seven new confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco from Sunday night until Monday at 8:00 am, bringing to 516 the total number of confirmed cases in the Kingdom, the Health Ministry announced.
The thirty-seven new cases were confirmed at the laboratory of the Pasteur-Morocco Institute and the national Center for influenza and respiratory viruses under the Rabat Institute of hygiene, said the ministry. 1920 suspected cases have tested negative for the virus.
In addition, the ministry announced that the number of cured persons stands at 14, while the death toll is at 29.
The 516 cases were recorded in the regions of Casablanca-Settat (149), Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (86), Fès-Meknès (88), Marrakech-Safi (94), Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (37), the Oriental region (21), Souss-Massa (15), Béni Mellal-Khénifra (17), Daraa-Tafilalet (8), Guelmim-Oued Noun (1), according to the same source, noting that no cases have been reported in the regions of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab and Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra.
