The number of confirmed coronavirus cases jumps to 6,593 in Morocco

81 new confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded between Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning in Morocco, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 6,593, the health Ministry announced.

In a recent update, the Ministry reported that 70,345 suspected cases have tested negative for the virus so far. While deaths related to the coronavirus stand at 189, the number of Covid-19 patients who recovered in the Kingdom has reached 3,222.

The confirmed coronavirus cases in the Kingdom are located as follows : 28.06% in Casablanca-Settat, 18.78% in Marrakech-Safi, 14.23% in Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, 13.91% in Fez-Meknes, 8.86% in Daraa-Tafilalet, 10.03% in Rabat-Salé-Kenitra, 2.68% in the Oriental region, 1.62% in Beni-Mellal-Khenifra, 1.09% in Souss Massa, 0.65% in Guelmim-Oued Noun, 0.06% in Laayoune-Sakia-El Hamra, 0.03 in Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab.
