Morocco records 26 new coronavirus cases, 8,250 in total

26 new confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded between Sunday afternoon and Monday morning in Morocco, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 8,250, the health Ministry announced.

In a recent update, the Ministry reported that 308,311 suspected cases have tested negative for the virus so far. While deaths related to the coronavirus stand at 208, the number of Covid-19 patients who recovered in the Kingdom has reached 7,370.

The confirmed coronavirus cases in the Kingdom are located as follows : 33.66% in Casablanca-Settat, 17.60% in Marrakech-Safi, 14.38% in Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, 12.44% in Fez-Meknes, 7.10% in Daraa-Tafilalet, 9.16% in Rabat-Salé-Kenitra, 2.35% in the Oriental region, 1.54% in Beni-Mellal-Khenifra, 1.09% in Souss Massa, 0.56% in Guelmim-Oued Noun, 0.06% in Laayoune-Sakia-El Hamra, 0.06 in Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab.
