Morocco records 18 new coronavirus cases, 8,455 in total

18 new confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded between Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning in Morocco, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 8,455, the health Ministry announced.

In a recent update, the Ministry reported that 343,785 suspected cases have tested negative for the virus so far. While deaths related to the coronavirus stand at 208, the number of Covid-19 patients who recovered in the Kingdom has reached 7,496.

The confirmed coronavirus cases in the Kingdom are located as follows : 33.91% in Casablanca-Settat, 17.69% in Marrakech-Safi, 14.44% in Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, 12.19% in Fez-Meknes, 6.93% in Daraa-Tafilalet, 9.28% in Rabat-Salé-Kenitra, 2.32% in the Oriental region, 1.50% in Beni-Mellal-Khenifra, 1.06% in Souss Massa, 0.54% in Guelmim-Oued Noun, 0.06% in Laayoune-Sakia-El Hamra, 0.06 in Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab.
