Morocco : 102 new confirmed coronavirus cases, mainly recorded in Rabat-Salé-Kenitra

102 new confirmed coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco between Sunday evening and Monday morning, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 10,079, the Health Ministry announced.

35 new recoveries were also recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 8,319. The death toll stands at 214.

The new cases were mainly recorded in the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra region, with 53 new infections. 20 others were recorded in Marrakech-Safi, 17 in Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, 7 in Fes-Meknes, 4 in Beni Mellal-Khenifra and 1 in Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra.

The confirmed coronavirus cases in the Kingdom are located as follows : 30.05% in Casablanca-Settat, 17.32% in Marrakech-Safi, 14.81% in Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, 10.99% in Fez-Meknes, 5.81% in Daraa-Tafilalet, 15.76% in Rabat-Salé-Kenitra, 1.98% in the Oriental region, 1.34% in Beni-Mellal-Khenifra, 0.89% in Souss Massa, 0.54% in Guelmim-Oued Noun, 0.45% in Laayoune-Sakia-El Hamra, 0.05% in Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab.
