181 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Morocco during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 16,726.
395 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries in the country to 14,360, with a recovery rate of 86%.
One death was recorded between Thursday and Friday, bringing the death toll to 264. Morocco has currently 2,102 active cases, 34 of them are in a critical condition.
Most of the new coronavirus cases were recorded in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, with 57 new infections. 59 others were recorded in the Fez-Meknes region. 23 new coronavirus were recorded in the Casablanca-Settat region and 13 were confirmed in the Oriental region.
2 new cases were recorded in the Rabat-Salé-Kenitra region, 3 in Dakhla-Oued Dahab, 1 in Guelmim-Oued Noun and 1 in Daara-Tafilalet.
