Morocco : 326 new coronavirus cases, mainly in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region

326 new coronavirus cases were recorded during the past 24 hours in Morocco, bringing the total number of Covid-19 infections in the country to 17,562.

211 new recoveries were recorded during the same period, bringing the total number of recoveries to 15,132, with a recovery rate to 86.2 percent.

Three deaths were recorded, bringing the death toll to 276. The number of active cases in Morocco is 2,154, with 33 ones in a critical condition.

Most of the new cases were recorded in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, with 181 cases. 64 cases were recorded in the Fez-Meknes region, 48 in the Casablanca-Settat region, 15 in Marrakech-Safi and 5 in Rabat-Salé-Kenitra.

3 cases were recorded in the Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab region, 3 in Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra, 2 cases in Beni Mellal-Khenifra and one in the Guelmim-Oued Noun region.
