Morocco did not hide its frustration over the Israeli senior official Ayoub Kara’s meeting with the Polisario’s leader. Responding to the official complaint issued by Morocco, the Israeli Foreign Ministry said that the meeting «did not receive official approval».
The Economic Community of West African States summit (ECOWAS), expected to be held in Liberia, will be attended by several African leaders and senior officials along with the Israeli Prime Minister. Benjamin Netanyahu hopes to meet King Mohammed VI and reinforce the African-Israeli diplomatic ties.
