The United States Department has avoided accusing Morocco of committing human rights violations in its 2020 report on human rights practices.
In its annual report on Morocco, released on Wednesday, Human Rights Watch listed several human rights abuses that would have occurred last year. The NGO specifically cites the «crackdown on social media commentators, artists and journalists».
The European Parliament once again condemns the violations of human rights in Algeria. The day after the adoption, in November 2019, of a similar text, General Gaid Salah had described it as «foreign interference».
