The «Appeal of Tata» Committee has filed a complaint against the Moroccan State with the Administrative Court, in order to classify the Tata floods as a natural disaster and thus allow the victims to benefit from compensation for the consequences of the floods that caused heavy damage.
Floods in Tata province have caused widespread destruction, resulting in 10 confirmed deaths, several missing people, and the isolation of affected areas due to road closures and infrastructure damage. Local activists are calling for urgent government intervention to support displaced families, repair damaged infrastructure, and restore essential services.
