Four blood clot cases have been reported in Morocco by the National Pharmacovigilance Center. Only one of these cases is under investigation, while the link with the vaccine has not been established when it comes to the others, according to the National Scientific Committee.
Major European countries halted, earlier this week, the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine as a precautionary measure over blood clots fears. The same vaccine has been administered in Morocco since January.
In a new study, researchers at the University of Oxford suggest that a single dose of the AstraZeneca's vaccine would be 76% effective between three weeks and three months.
