17.46.وَجَعَلْنَا عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ أَكِنَّةً أَن يَفْقَهُوهُ وَفِي آذَانِهِمْ وَقْراً وَإِذَا ذَكَرْتَ رَبَّكَ فِي الْقُرْآنِ وَحْدَهُ وَلَّوْاْ عَلَى أَدْبَارِهِمْ نُفُوراً

17.46. Nous voilons leurs cœurs et les rendons si durs d'oreille qu'ils ne peuvent rien en saisir. Et quand tu évoques, dans le Coran, ton Seigneur, l'Unique, ils tournent le dos en manifestant leur dissentiment.

17.46 . And We place upon their hearts veils lest they should understand it , and in their ears a deafness ; and when thou makest mention of thy Lord alone in the Quran , they turn their backs in aversion .

17.46. WajaAAalna AAala quloobihim akinnatan an yafqahoohu wafee athanihim waqran wa-itha thakarta rabbaka fee alqur-ani wahdahu wallaw AAala adbarihim nufooran

17.47.نَّحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَسْتَمِعُونَ بِهِ إِذْ يَسْتَمِعُونَ إِلَيْكَ وَإِذْ هُمْ نَجْوَى إِذْ يَقُولُ الظَّالِمُونَ إِن تَتَّبِعُونَ إِلاَّ رَجُلاً مَّسْحُوراً

17.47. Nous savons parfaitement quel but ils poursuivent quand ils viennent t'écouter ou quand ils tiennent des conciliabules au cours desquels les injustes, parmi eux, disent : «Vous ne suivez là qu'un homme ensorcelé !»

17.47 . We are best aware of what they wish to hear when they give ear to thee and when they take secret counsel , when the evil doers say : Ye follow but a man bewitched .

17.47. Nahnu aAAlamu bima yastamiAAoona bihi ith yastamiAAoona ilayka wa-ith hum najwa ith yaqoolu alththalimoona in tattabiAAoona illa rajulan mashooran

17.48.انظُرْ كَيْفَ ضَرَبُواْ لَكَ الأَمْثَالَ فَضَلُّواْ فَلاَ يَسْتَطِيعْونَ سَبِيلاً

17.48. Observe ce à quoi ils te comparent dans leur égarement et comment ils ont perdu tout contrôle sur eux-mêmes !

17.48 . See what similitudes they coin for thee , and thus are all astray , and cannot find a road!

17.48. Onthur kayfa daraboo laka al-amthala fadalloo fala yastateeAAoona sabeelan

17.49.وَقَالُواْ أَئِذَا كُنَّا عِظَاماً وَرُفَاتاً أَإِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ خَلْقاً جَدِيداً

17.49. «Est-il possible, disent-ils, qu'une fois réduits en ossements et en poussière nous puissions être appelés à une vie nouvelle?»

17.49 . And they say : When we are bones and fragments , shall we , forsooth , be raised up as a new creation?

17.49. Waqaloo a-itha kunna AAithaman warufatan a-inna lamabAAoothoona khalqan jadeedan

17.50.قُل كُونُواْ حِجَارَةً أَوْ حَدِيداً

17.50. Réponds-leur : «Oui, vous le serez ! Que vous soyez de pierre ou de fer,

17.50 . Say : Be ye stones or iron
