20.61.قَالَ لَهُم مُّوسَى وَيْلَكُمْ لَا تَفْتَرُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِباً فَيُسْحِتَكُمْ بِعَذَابٍ وَقَدْ خَابَ مَنِ افْتَرَى

20.61. «Malheur à vous, leur dit Moïse, ne forgez pas de mensonges sur le compte de Dieu, sinon Il vous anéantira, car c'est l'échec qui est le lot de tout imposteur.»

20.61 . Moses said unto them : Woe unto you! Invent not a lie against Allah , lest He extirpate you by some punishment . He who lieth faileth miserably .

20.61. Qala lahum moosa waylakum la taftaroo AAala Allahi kathiban fayushitakum biAAathabin waqad khaba mani iftara

20.62.فَتَنَازَعُوا أَمْرَهُم بَيْنَهُمْ وَأَسَرُّوا النَّجْوَى

20.62. Les magiciens discutèrent de la stratégie à suivre, mais gardèrent leur concertation secrète ,

20.62 . Then they debated one with another what they must do , and they kept their counsel secret .

20.62. FatanazaAAoo amrahum baynahum waasarroo alnnajwa

20.63.قَالُوا إِنْ هَذَانِ لَسَاحِرَانِ يُرِيدَانِ أَن يُخْرِجَاكُم مِّنْ أَرْضِكُم بِسِحْرِهِمَا وَيَذْهَبَا بِطَرِيقَتِكُمُ الْمُثْلَى

20.63. puis déclarèrent : «Ces deux individus sont sûrement des magiciens qui veulent, par leur magie, vous chasser de votre pays et réduire à néant votre doctrine exemplaire.

20.63 . They said : Lo! these are two wizards who would drive you out from your country by their magic , and destroy your best traditions ;

20.63. Qaloo in hathani lasahirani yureedani an yukhrijakum min ardikum bisihrihima wayathhaba bitareeqatikumu almuthla

20.64.فَأَجْمِعُوا كَيْدَكُمْ ثُمَّ ائْتُوا صَفّاً وَقَدْ أَفْلَحَ الْيَوْمَ مَنِ اسْتَعْلَى

20.64. Rassemblez donc vos artifices ! Serrez les rangs ! Car sera heureux celui qui, en ce jour, triomphera !»

20.64 . So arrange your plan , and come in battle line . Whoso is uppermost this day will be indeed successful .

20.64. FaajmiAAoo kaydakum thumma i/too saffan waqad aflaha alyawma mani istaAAla

20.65.قَالُوا يَا مُوسَى إِمَّا أَن تُلْقِيَ وَإِمَّا أَن نَّكُونَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ أَلْقَى

20.65. Et ils ajoutèrent : «Ô Moïse ! Est-ce toi qui jetteras ta magie ou serons-nous les premiers?»

20.65 . They said : O Moses! Either throw first , or let us be the first to throw?

20.65. Qaloo ya moosa imma an tulqiya wa-imma an nakoona awwala man alqa
